You can use home remedies to both kill the bedbugs and to stop the itchiness caused by bedbug bites. Not only are home remedies much cheaper than hiring a professional exterminator, but they also allow you to take fast action to get rid of these bugs as soon as you notice signs of them in your house.

Spray Natural Insecticide

You can spray bed bugs with a natural vegetable or fruit insecticide. These fruit and vegetable insecticides are made with canola oil and pyrethrins that is highly effective.

You could even spray bed bugs with some rubbing alcohol to kill off these insects and their eggs. Also, rubbing alcohol will help to repel these blood-sucking insects from infesting your home in the first place. Before you spray any alcohol make sure there is no flame in the area.

You can also make your own natural insecticide to kill off bed bugs. Head to your local health store and pick up some lavender, rosemary, and eucalyptus essential oils. Now all you have to do is add a few drops of these 3 essential oils into a cup of water and then spray it on the bed bugs to kill them.
