Bed Bugs spotted at the Potawatomi Casino

Milwaukee - Both the Potawatomi Casino and Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services confirmed bed bugs have been spotted inside the City's biggest gaming spot.

DNS received a complaint on September 16th. The complaint stated some of the gaming tables had bed bugs. An inspector investigated three days later, and found that to be the case. The owners have contracted an extermination company to deal with the problem.

A statement released by the casino says in part: "We immediately treated those areas and working diligently to ensure no other areas are affected."

"It's pretty concerning. I travel all the time. I wouldn't want them in any hotel room, much less a place like this." Said, Jim Meyer.

A casino spokesperson stated that no evidence of bed bugs were found in the Potawatomi Casino Hotel. Outside experts will be working on site over the next few days.
