CHICAGO Two motel guests are suing Homestar Trust #1611 DBA Route 50 Hotel and Route 50 Motel LLC for allegedly not doing enough to prevent bed bugs.

Michelle Malec and John Paske filed a lawsuit on March 3 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the defendants failed to make sure that their beds were free of bed bugs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Malec experienced pain after suffering from several bites from bed bugs on March 9, 2015, while staying at the motel.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount less than $15,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Law Office of Andrew S. Kryder LLC in Chicago.
