Two Goodwill warehouses were shut down recently. But its not    because of fire or anything literally big. It was because of    the tiny but terrible bed bugs. If they only knew    how    to kill bed bugs.  
    A report said that a bed bug infestation was already confirmed    in one of the industrial buildings on Monday. Particularly, it    hit the organizations 30,000-square-foot warehouse located at    11th and Mission streets. However, it was isolated    to a small area of about 20 square feet in the corner of the    storage facility.  
    To resolve the problem, exterminators were called in. The area,    it was said, would be tented and treated in the following days.  
    Goodwills another warehouse in Burlingame at 1215 California    Drive would also be inspected. Over the weekend, it was said    that bed bugs were sighted on it.  
    Meanwhile, to salvage the goods in the warehouses, loads of    garments, textiles and fabrics were steam-cleaned. Despite    that, a huge number of the donated goods were still trashed to    make sure that the pests are not transferred to staff and    customers.

      A bed bug scare has forced Goodwill Industries to shut down      two Bay Area warehouses and dispose of loads of donated      goods, according to an agency spokesman.    
      The infestation, which was confirmed in Goodwills San      Francisco warehouse by bug-sniffing dogs on Monday, was      confined to an isolated area of the 30,000-square-foot      storage facility at 11th and Mission streets, said Tim      Murray, director of brand and marketing for Goodwill in San      Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.
