A&E NETWORK PREMIERES THE NEW ORIGINAL REAL LIFE SERIES "RAMBUG" FOLLOWING A FAMILY OF NEW YORK CITY EXTERMINATORS ON SATURDAY, APRIL 28 AT 10PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, NY - MARCH 13, 2012 - A&E Network presents a new real life series about a brawny group of hard-working, over-the-top Italian exterminators from Brooklyn who dress in camouflage and wage war on the city's nastiest critters. "Rambug" premieres Saturday April 28 at 10 PM ET/PT on A&E.

Robbie "Rambug" is the burly but loveable owner of Rambug Pest Control. With the help of his eccentric team, which consists of actual family members and friends who have been around so long they feel like family, Robbie runs one of the most successful extermination businesses in New York City. This offbeat, macho team rides around town in a truck with a giant cockroach mounted to the top and fearlessly battles everything from rats to roaches to bed bugs... to each other- Rambo style.

The Rambug Pest Control team is led by Robbie and supervised by his older brother Ralph. They both ultimately answer to their traditional Italian mother Mimi. The general manager of the business is Big Rob, who struggles to juggle his work duties, his relationship with office manager Rose and being a father to an often impertinent Lil Rob, who also works at the company. Lil Rob's best friend and wingman James and rat-trapper extraordinaire Steve round out the Rambug crew.

In the premiere episode, "The Bug Stops Here," when Lil Rob slacks off at work, Robbie forces his dad Big Rob to step in. All hell breaks loose when Lil Rob threatens to fight his supervisor Ralph. At the end of the day, for this unconventional band of brothers, Rambug isn't just a job... it's a family.

"Rambug" is produced by Michael Levitt Productions for A&E Network. Executive producers for Michael Levitt Productions are Michael Levitt and Jill Goularte, with Curnal Achilles Aulisio as Co-Executive Producer. Executive producers for A&E Network are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Lily Neumeyer.

According to Rest Assured MC, Freezing Bed Bugs with Cryonite will Become One of the Most Popular Methods for Killing …

As bed bug infestations continue to occur more frequently, pest control companies and property managers will be turning to Cryonite machines to freeze bed bugs and eliminate them from the properties says Lorne Chadnick of Rest Assured MC.

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 29, 2012

While working on a daily basis with pest control companies, property managers and hospitality professionals, Rest Assured MC has witnessed an unrelenting problem of bed bug infestations, and no public place appears to be invincible. Schools, hotels, motels, shelters, dormitories, Universities, apartment complexes, libraries, neighborhoods and many other facilities have been infested, and unfortunately bed bug infestations are predicted to continue to occur more frequently in 2012.

Because bed bugs have recently come back with a vengeance, they have brought with them an increasing demand for new and innovative bed bug eradication products. According to a 2011 study by the National Pest Management Association, 99% of U.S. pest management professionals surveyed encountered bed bug infestations in the past year.

Bedbugs were a problem in America after WWII, and in the following decade were nearly eradicated from the continent by spraying a pesticide called Dichloro Diphenyl Trichloroethane or DDT. As effective as DDT was at killing bed bugs, it was incredibly harmful to the environment, wildlife and human health, resulting in it being outlawed in the USA in 1972.

In the years that followed many thought that bedbugs had gone the way of the Dodo bird, but due to bans on pesticide, increased resistance, and frequent international travel, bed bugs have seen a recent resurgence and are a bigger problem today than many would have anticipated.

While the jury is still out as to the absolute best way to permanently eradicate bed bugs, a new and increasingly popular method of killing them immediately has been freezing bed bugs with an environmentally friendly product called Cryonite. Cryonite sales are anticipated to boom in 2012 with a higher demand than alternative products.

The primary reason Cryonite will be growing in popularity is because it is an effective, non-toxic way of killing bed bugs. Upon contact, bed bugs are immediately frozen to death and any un-hatched eggs will also be frozen and will not produce live instar nymphs.

Secondly, Cryonite is an eco friendly product that does not contain pesticides or other toxic chemicals. It is a CO2 snow and when it is applied to the infested sites, it does not leave a toxic residue that would be harmful to other forms of life like humans or animals.

In addition to being a non-toxic method with immediate results, it is safe to treat appliances and electronics with Cryonite. This is a major advantage that freezing bed bugs with Cryonite has over other popular non-toxic treatments like heat and steam, whereas heat treatments frequently cause damage to electronics, rubbers and plastics.

Best Bedbug Cures Are Now Non-Toxic Says New Report from Planet Amazing

Past bedbug treatments involved highly toxic chemicals, but recent innovations in organic and non-toxic pest control have helped companies like Planet Amazing bring safer, better products to the public.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 19, 2012

New bedbug cure products are safer and better, according to a new report from Planet Amazing. Improvements include much lower cost for treatment, inability for insects to develop immunity, completely non-toxic ingredients that are safe for humans, pets and plants, as well as other benefits, says the report.

Planet Amazing's new products have all these benefits, according to Planet Amazing spokesperson Justin Douglas. "For example, Bedbug Shredder has three steps with the first step being a dust that attaches itself to the legs of bed bugs. The dust is used on carpets and is non-toxic. Mr. Douglas says that scientists studied the bugs for years before coming up with a way to actually disable them from movement using the dust.

The problem is serious, says Mr. Douglas: "People are looking for a bed bug cure. Serious bed bug infestations and chronic attacks can cause anxiety, stress and insomnia. Development of refractory delusional parasitosis is possible, as victims develop an overwhelming obsession with bedbugs."

According to news service CNN, bedbugs have increased to epidemic proportions in the last 10 years. For example, CNN says that in New York City for the two year period of 2003 to 2004 there were a total of 82 occurrences of bed bug infestations, while in the year of 2009 to 2010 in the same city there were over 9,500 occurrences of bed bugs, which is more than a 10,000% increase. CNN says, "a professional extermination to deal with a problem that all too often won't go away costs somewhere between $200 to $1500 -- per room," making it expensive to deal with the problem.

"BedBug Shredder can solve this problem with the three step scientific process," Mr. Douglas says. "Its a complete three part system that kills every last bedbug in your house. Because its a mechanical killer, bedbugs cannot become immune to its killing strength like ordinary pesticides. Its ingredients are recognized by the United States EPA as GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe and Effective). Its main ingredients are non-toxic to humans and pets, so you can apply it yourself without hiring an expensive service."

"Bedbugs have to travel across floors and carpets to get to your bed," Mr. Douglas explains. "Scientists discovered a way to stop them without using chemicals, and it is the first step of our process. We make sure they never make the trip across your carpet to your bed or anywhere else. BedBugShredder carpet dust kills bed bugs by simply shredding their intestines. The rough microcrystal spears are specially refined to destroy bed bugs mechanically and not chemically.

These micro crystals attach to the legs and bodies of bed bugs as they crawl across it. When they groom it off, the crystals are like ground glass in the bugs intestines, shredding them from the inside out, resulting in internal bleeding, mass dehydration and ultimately death. Because of the microscopic size of the crystals in BedBug Shredder, carpet dust is harmless to your family and pets as their intestinal tracts are hundreds times the size of that of the bed bugs. Its fine white powder lightly covers the immediate area of infestation, typically around the bed, furniture, for just a few days, that's all it takes for those areas to be bed bug free. It's simple to apply and you never have to worry about it harming your family or pets."
